Boxtorussia was started by Carsten Skov who has a background in logistics and has experience of working in Russia since 1993. From 1995 he has lived and worked in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Until 2017, he worked as a director or as part of the management team of some of Denmark’s leading logistics companies and was instrumental in starting and developing their activities and offices in the former Soviet Union.

Where we deliver?
We deliver to all major and minor cities in Russia: Murmansk in the north, Sochi in the south, Vladivostok in the east, Moscow and Saint Petersburg in the west. Our database contains more than 45000 delivery locations throughout Russia.
What can be sent?
Items must be sold and shipped from a webshop. It is a requirement of the Russian customs that we must be able to document a link to the selling web shop as well as a link to the product on the web-shop in order to make customs clearance in Russia.
Parcels with a value of up to 200 Euro can be imported tax free. If the value is higher than the 200 Euro limit a fee of 15% should be paid of the amount that exceedes 200 EURO. For example, if a shipment costs 300 EURO, the recipient will be charged 15% of 100 EURO.
Deliveries must be for individuals and must not be of a commercial character. Commercial character is defined as goods that are not for personal use. For example, it would not be considered personal use if the recipient orders 10 pairs of the same model of jeans.
The products must be delivered in packaging suited for transportation. It is the webshop’s own responsibility that the item is packed correctly. Products that are not properly packed may be rejected for transportation.
Maximum shipping size
- Maximum size per parcel: 120 x 80 x 50 cm
- Maximum weight per shipment: 15 kg
- Maximum value for duty-free delivery: 200 Euro per shipment.
General terms and conditions
All tasks are carried out in accordance with the General Regulations of the Nordic Freight Forwarders Association (NSAB 2015). The provisions limit our liability for loss, deterioration or damage to goods to SDR 8.33 per kg and for delays up to the freight amount, maximum SDR 50.0000 for each order (§21).
