If goods are found in customs, they will be confiscated and in many cases destroyed. The customer will not receive the item and the item will not be returned to the seller.

Parcels with a value of less than 200 Euro can be imported tax free into Russia. Customs must be made for each shipment arriving in Russia from abroad. Read more here.

If the value of a shipment exceeds 200 Euro, a duty of 15% of the value exceeding 200 Euro must be paid (January 2020). For a shipment with a value of 300 EURO the 15% will have to be paid from 100 Euro that exceeds the tax free limit. Shipments for which tax is payable will not be released until the customs authorities have received payment from the recipient. Read more here.
