Customs regulations

  • Persons registered in Russia can import tax free goods for a total value of 200 Euro or 32 kilos per shipment.
  • If the tax free limit is exceeded, the consgine must pay 15% in duty of the value exceeding the limit of 200 Euro. For a shipment with a value of 300 Euro should be paid 15% of 100 EURO = 15 EURO (January 2020). The parcel will not be released by customs until the cosignee has paid.
  • The 15% fee should be paid by the consignee in Russia and is not included in our rates.
  • For statistical reasons and to keep track of what people are importing, customs clearance must be made for each shipment.
  • We take care of the customs clearance in Russia.
  • The customs clearance in Russia is already included in our prices.

Required information

In order to make customs clearance in Russia we need a number of additional information about your web shop, the product as well as a number of personal information about the recipient in Russia. This is all the information required by the Russian customs authorities. If we do not receive the correct information, we will not be able to make the customs clearance in Russia and the parcel will be stopped by the Russian authorities.

Information from the wbeshop:

  • Web Store URL
  • Link to the product (s) on the web shop / website
  • General product information

Russian customer information:

  • Passport number
  • Issuing authority
  • Passport issuing country
  • Date of issue
  • Russian tax number

In cooperation with our IT department the webshop will be configured so all the necessary information can be entered by the customer at check out.

Prohibited items

It is not allowed to ship all products under the current regulations. Here is a list with prohibited items that are not allowed to be send. It is the sender’s responsibility to ensure that no prohibited items are shipped. If customs finde unauthorized items they will be confiscated. Any costs arising from a violation of these rules will be charged to the sender.

If you are in doubt whether it is allowed to send your products, please send us an email to support@boxtorussia.eu with a link to your shop and your products. If we cannot answer immediately, we will check it with the Customs in Russia and return with an answer as soon as possible.
